Contemporary Thai Massage

Contemporary Thai Massage Workshop

Healing Modality includes Classical Thai Massage, Aromatic Oil Massage, Foot Reflexology, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point and Swedish Massage.

Beloved people, Wit is extremely delighted to share this sacred practice, Contemporary Thai Massage for Yoga and Tantra practitioners, from his direct experiences, captured from 5 years of learning and working as a massage therapist in Koh Samui and Koh Phangan.  His has deepened his understanding and skill through practices of Yoga, Tantra, and Qi-Gong and was profoundly influenced by more than 20 years of both Theravada and Mahayana meditation background.
Wit believes that we are evolving to be ONE with nature, at the same time, to become whatever we desire to be through our own process of liberation and manifestation.  Being a conscious practitioner is a key to self-growth and self-realization at particular life stages as well as at the pinnacle of our lifetime.
Contemporary Thai Massage has been acquired from eastern and western healing philosophies alike.  To date, so many massage modalities, techniques and tools have been included in making Contemporary Thai Massage more acceptable and easier accessible to people around the globe.
By allowing yourself to immerse in this workshop,  you will be able to widen your perspectives and, eventually, be able to combine Thai Massage into your healing modalities, for your own good or for the greater good of others.

What are the most essential elements of his works?

May it be Massage, Qigong, Yoga, Tantra, Shamanic Practice or Tea Ceremony.

First of all, we set our intention for what we would like to achieve; we know our underlined objective that drew us to any particular practice.  We enjoy our freedom of choice and choose what resonates with us.  Then, we consecrate to turn this practice into something larger than the practice itself; the practice becomes sacramental and meaningful to our life.  We use our message, pictures, poem, motto, affirmation, prayers, chant, song, lyric and music as our means of consecration.  We have dedicated our life for this practice and become a devotee of its teachings, a disciple of its Guru.  Nevertheless, intention setting has to be done under our totality of consciousness.  Being a conscious practitioner means 3 things; Clear Intention including Consent and Boundaries, Mindful Awareness of our choice, thinking and action, and being able to remain in the Meditative State of Being.  When we are conscious, we know exactly what to do and what not to do according to our purpose, strength and limitation physically, energetically, emotionally and spiritually.  Hence, Consciousness is the key.
Second of all, we breathe in such a way as to consciously support our practices no matter which state we are at.  Breathing slowly becomes meditation through mindful awareness of our own breath.  That’s why all kinds of practices include breathing techniques and breathworks that essentially prepare, allow and maintain our body to synchronize with our movements.  Breath is an integral part of Qi; the life force energy, the Prana, the Air, the Universal Consciousness.
Thirdly, Movements are our process towards self-realization, a major pathway to liberation.  Movements generate heat/power and so activate energy flow throughout the body.  Even when we are in stillness or a static posture, we move at a subtle level inside our body.  In any practice, movements consist of body and energy alignments.  Body Alignment is the postural structure that supports us throughout the practice.  It is represented by our various stances; standing, sitting, lying down, shaking, bouncing, jumping, floating, flowing, dancing and allowing.  On the other hand, Energy Alignment has no form and can not be seen.  It is our attitude, mindset, intention, purpose, consent, boundaries, willpower and determination to practice.  It includes light, sound and imagination. It is our acceptance of who we are and our surrender to All That Is.  It is of paramount importance that we align our body and energy with the alignment of the Earth and the Universe.
The synchronicity of consciousness, breath and movements bring grace, joy and peace to mankind.  I call these three essential elements of spiritual practice “The Foundation of Life”

About your facilitator:

A multidimensional being who enjoys life experiences being a yoga-tantra-qigong practitioner and a massage therapist.  He works with his two warm hands and a gentle heart applying zero resistance techniques in all movements.

Wit David Lee was born in a Chinese family in Bangkok in 1965 and graduated from a hotel school in Switzerland in 1995.  He pursued his dreams in the corporate world until 10 years ago when he realized that life can only be beautiful and meaningful once we know who we are and what we can be of service to others.

He lived in Koh Samui for 3 years before moving to Koh Phangan where he called home for almost 4 years.  He has brought himself onto a liberation/manifestation journey through multi-style meditation and yoga-tantra-qigong practices during the past 25 years.  Now that he knows who he is and how he can serve.
