Water Contact Dance Experience
Immerse yourself in a 2.5-hour journey of somatic exploration and playful movement with the element of water. This class invites you to connect deeply with the natural flow of water and your own inner rhythm. Through guided exercises, we’ll explore how buoyancy shifts with body position and how we can harmonize our movements to flow with the water, rather than resist it.
The session begins with somatic warm-ups to tune into the unique qualities of water and its influence on our bodies. Together, we will experiment with different movement patterns, discovering how water can support, challenge, and inspire our flow. The class will transition into a jam session, offering time for free-form movement, creative expression, and integration of the techniques explored earlier.
This is an invitation to bring your curiosity, playfulness, and willingness to dive into a shared experience of discovery. Whether you’re new to dancing in the water or an experienced mover, this session offers a space to connect with yourself, the water, and the collective energy of the group.
Duration: 2,5 hours (class + jam) with warming brakes 🙂
