What is this retreat about?
What is this retreat about?
Our retreat offers yoga as a path to self-realization and healing, grounded in awareness and the release from suffering.
The training emphasizes a deep, embodied approach to asana—not just as physical movement, but as a doorway to inner strength, self-observation, and emotional resilience.
This journey supports genuine transformation—not by changing who you are, but by deepening your understanding of yourself through asana, pranayama, meditation, and conscious inner work. It is a space for healing, empowerment, and profound inner growth.
- A deeper connection with your true self* through powerful inner‑work practices.
- New levels of focus and clarity* to move toward what truly matters to you.
- Gentle ways to embrace and transform the past*, opening space for growth.
- Practical tools for emotional balance* you can bring into everyday life.
- Insight practices to free yourself* from old habits and limiting patterns.
- Easy and practical understanding of yoga philosophy and techniques to create a nurturing connection with yourself and others.
- Embodiment and grounding practices* to help you feel more present and alive.
- Exploring how it feels to be guided by love rather than fear.
- Safe, supportive methods* to support Kundalini awakening, heart opening, and experiencing and cultivating devine energy.
- Practical skills to share authentic Yoga* in 1:1 sessions, workshops, & group settings.
What make us special
What make us special
Samma Karuna is not just another place to take classes—we are a Tantra and Yoga school of self-realization with a curriculum that has been developed and refined over more than a decade of daily practice.
Every class is part of a carefully designed journey, guiding you step-by-step through a coherent and wholesome approach to personal growth.
Our work goes beyond simply offering healing or awakening experiences. We focus on building inner strength and insight—two fundamental qualities that help you return to your daily life without slipping back into old patterns and blockages.
This makes the transformation you experience here sustainable, not just a temporary escape.
Many retreat centers hire freelance teachers who each bring their own unrelated methods. While variety can sometimes be enriching, mixing techniques from different traditions without a unifying framework can be confusing—or even harmful—for students.
At Samma Karuna, our teachers are trained to deliver practices that fit seamlessly into our proven system, ensuring your journey is safe, consistent, and deeply effective.
