This is more of a music and movement based class than a formal Tantra practice. It includes a more active rhythm, playfulness and inner-child work.
This system is developed at Samma Karuna by Ishi, as a fusion between Biodanza, Tantra and his own vision of the earth manifestation of the inner-child archetype.
This is an active meditation in which we use rhythm, awareness, and an intuitive state, which are qualities of many types of meditation, using dance to reconnect with ourselves and celebrate life.
It is not happy people who are thankful, it is thankful people who are happy. In this love meditation, we will explore the art of seeing light in each other and within ourselves as a true path for a more thankful and happy life.
We offer daily OSHO Dynamic Meditation as well as some of the most famous OSHO Active Meditations. OSHO Sannyasins are especially welcome. OSHO Dynamic meditation is considered a foundational practice, both for the path of Yoga as well as for path of Tantra.
As a Tantra school of self-realization, our main objective is to help our students find an authentic and long-lasting happiness, as well as understand the truth of who we really are. As a non-dogmatic school, our aim is to help you develop your own light and wisdom. It´s our understanding that true wisdom comes from within, through our own personal experiences, rather than second-hand wisdom found in books or lectures. Our Tantra lectures are based on experiential exercises, time for reflection, sharing and meditation.
Fifteen stages of intense cathartic meditation, inspired by Humaniversity AUM meditation and Osho’s AUM marathon. Three and a half hours journey of opening up to your emotions, reconnecting with your body and celebrating life. This is an intense process that will help you to reconnect with your body, balance your emotions and ultimately recognise your essential nature — a quality of being that transcends thoughts and sensations. This foundational practice is available once a month only, so if you are visiting us for a shorter period of time please check our calendar of activities before booking.
Often, when we feel attacked, we say or do things to the people we love that disconnect us from them, and bring us suffering. Here, we will explore the power of vulnerability and talking from the open heart, to bring awareness to our defence mechanisms. We will learn how to communicate in a way that we are able to express our truth and boundaries whilst remaining open and kind.
Samma Karuna Tetra Breath is a gentle yet powerful conscious connected breathing technique, that tunes us in with the natural healing system of our bodies. This Tantric breathwork, developed at Samma Karuna, promises us great insights, healing and states of clarity and bliss. This is a transformative tool used during both Tantra and Yoga trainings.
Regular Tantra practice on a variety of subjects. The style of the practice is Right Hand Neo Tantra and heart-based Tantra. However, other styles may be incorporated. This class is suitable for beginners, singles and couples; however, if you are a complete beginner, we suggest you start with Biodevelopment practice.
Samma Karuna’s yoga practise is offered in a variety of techniques and styles, making it suitable for beginners as well as experienced practitioners. When we hug, our hearts connect and we realise that we are not separate beings. Hugging with mindfulness and heart can bring reconciliation, healing, understanding, joy and great happiness. This practice will help us to bring awareness to our defence mechanisms and to realise and reconnect with the divine presence in ourselves and others.
Self-inquiry practice helps us to understand ourselves better and how our mind really works. This practice helps us to take responsibility for our thoughts and emotions by understanding how they are created. This understanding comes through our direct experience, in which we see how our thoughts recreate our perception of reality. This ultimately helps us to realise who we truly are. This is a traditional yoga practice (awareness practice) using a contemporary framework from the work of Byron Katie.
This practice is inspired by traditional Tonglen practice, which is attributed to the great Buddhist teacher Atisha Dipankara Shrijnana, born in 982 CE. You will be experiencing at our schoool a contemporay adaptation that includes music and movement as well as a social component.
Breathing is the first act of life. Within breath lies unexplored secrets of life. Samma Karuna So Ham is a powerful yet simple rhythmic breathing technique, that incorporates specific natural rhythms of breath, harmonising body, mind and emotions and helping to open Manipura chakra.
This technique helps to eliminate stress, fatigue and negative emotions such as anger, frustration and depression, leaving the mind calm and focused, the body energized and relaxed.
We gather every day to meditate together. We offer still meditation practice with a variety of techniques, starting from concentration practice (breath and visualisation), and followed by meditation on equanimity of sensations and vulnerability, according to the path of Tantra.
Inner Dance is not ‘’dance’’ as we typically know it. It is a Sound & Sensory Healing Journey, guiding us to shift into heightened perceptions, deeper states of awareness and awakening the innate power to heal from within.
This free weekly event offers an uplifting conscious movie to bring more awareness and understanding to our lives.
Every Monday evening, we gather to welcome newcomers to the community. It’s a good excuse to share food, music, laughter and have a nice time. Dinner is on donation, and all profits are given to a noble cause on the island.
