Corporate Social Responsability

“We do care about money and its value as a limited resource but we care more about how we earn it and what we do with it.” Corporate Social Responsibility [CSR] is the responsibility of an organization for the impact of its decisions and activities on society and the environment, through transparent and ethical behavior. As Samma Karuna is a mission of love, Corporate Social Responsibility is important to us. We want to foster happiness and peace not only in ourselves but in our environment too. For this reason we want to establish win-win agreements with providers, staff and teachers. We believe we are all brothers and sisters on this planet and by working together we can make this world a better place. Therefore we are strongly committed to work with the local Thai and Burmese community and growing together, engaging in respectful and loving connections rather than competing with each other. If we give love to others, this love helps people to be happier and this love comes back to us if given unselfishly. As a CSR organization, we avoid offering services that compete directly with the local Thais and Burmese such as renting motorbikes, holding events not related to selfdevelopment, offering tours, laundry services or massage workshops (unless offered by Thai locals).
